In keeping with the natural surroundings, the colonial-style cottage was
built to take advantage of the spectacular views across the countryside.
Completed in 2004, the construction of the cottage was featured in the national
magazine, Handyman.
With a 4-star rating from AAA Tourism, the cottage is beautifully
appointed providing all the comforts of home plus a
little bit extra. It is ideal for couples, but can accommodate up to four
people.

Longview Farm Cottage is the ideal place to do nothing at all, if that's what
you fancy! You can enjoy your own private hideaway surrounded by 200 acres of
pastoral beauty. When you do fancy a little country jaunt, your perfect location
means a scenic drive to find a fascinating mix of heritage villages and
adventures not far from home.
- Relax on the verandah while a breathtaking sunset unfolds.
- Curl up with a book in front of the log fire.
- Take a leisurely walk around the property. Pack a picnic and watch the
bush come to life with a plethora of native bush animals including
kangaroos, wombats and wallabies.
- Spend an hour spotting bush birds and listening to their music. Pick out
the call of a rosella, cockatoo, currawong or kookaburra.
- Visit one of the nearby historic villages like Marulan, Taralga and
Bungonia.
- Take a scenic walk in protected state forest at Bungonia State
Recreation Area.
- Bring your fishing rod and drop a line the nearby Tarlo or Wollondilly
Rivers.
- Explore the local Wombeyan Caves.
